Felix smiled and said, “That’s just how fate works. You earned this. Why thank me? You helped me plenty with those herbs, too.” 

Wendy seemed to have gathered her courage and finally said, “Mr. Zeller, do I… do I have any chance of being with you? Given your talent, I know I don’t deserve to be with you! But even if I could just be your mistress, I’d be willing to be one.”

He was in danger? Felix was puzzled, but what really caught his attention was the genuine concern in Xena’s tone. That was unexpected. “Alright, thanks for the heads up.” 

A crowded place? If she had told him that, he would definitely go somewhere quiet. He wanted to find out who could be so powerful that Xena felt the need to warn him. 

Wendy hugged Felix tightly as they were about to leave the private room. Her body trembled slightly. “Please, let me hold you for a moment. Is that okay?” 

Felix did not stop her. He patted her back. His master, Gerald the Miracle Doctor, had once said Felix was destined to be surrounded by beautiful women. But the final outcome would depend on his own choices.
