Felix stared at the man for a moment before it dawned on him. “You’re the guy who lent money to Madeline, right?” 

“That’s right! We’ve met before, so you can just call me Mr. Adams,” Hunter replied with a grin. 

Felix frowned. 

Stinger was supposed to deal with this guy already, but here he was, seeming more comfortable than ever. 

Sasha interrupted, “Mr. Adams, we’ll deal with your grudge later. I haven’t had my say yet.” 

She turned to Felix, her voice dripping with contempt. “Felix, you’ve lost your protection now that Lord Kane is gone. Don’t you think it’s time to settle the score for hitting me and disrespecting me repeatedly?” 

Ruth chimed in, “Exactly! This punk humiliated me, too! It’s time we get even.” 

Felix played along and asked, “What do you want me to do?” 

Sasha leaned back, crossing her legs with an air of superiority. She smirked, thinking she had the upper hand. After all, once you lost your connections in the real world, you were nothing more than a powerless nobody. Acting tough would only bring more trouble. 1 

Then, she declared, “It’s simple. Get on your knees, bow to Ruth and me, sincerely apologize, and from now on, address us formally whenever you see us. Do that, and I promise you can leave unharmed.” 

Felix could not help but laugh at her audacity. “You think these goons are enough to intimidate me? That’s hilarious.” 

Sasha remained unfazed. “I know you can fight, but haven’t you heard of guns? You’re alone now, and Lord Kane isn’t here to save you. 

As if on cue, Hunter pulled a handgun from his waistband and twirled it in his hand, a cocky grin on his face. Felix shook his head and locked eyes with Sasha.

Suddenly, the metal door burst open with a loud bang, and dozens of men rushed in. Startled, Hunter raised his gun. 

“Stinger? What’s the meaning of this?”
