Belle shot an intense glare at the newcomer, her fury palpable. “Are you done? How dare you obstruct the Phoenix Legion’s operations? Capture her!” 

Seeing another woman appear, who was even more stunning than Yvonne–almost on par with Xena–Belle didn’t recognize her and decided to make an example of her. 

Without saying a word, a middle–aged man stepped forward. This caught Belle’s attention, and her expression changed. Immediately, she halted her order. “Stop!” 

She recognized the middle–aged man as a bodyguard closely associated with Ernest, named Jairo. The woman who had spoken on behalf of Felix earlier was clearly an 

important person 

“The Phoenix Legion is quite impressive. Is your word alone enough to take someone away? I’m standing right here, and I would like to see you try!” 

Jairo was there to protect none other than Sherlyn, Ernest’s precious granddaughter. Felix -recognized her at once. 

“Ms. Holt, thank you so much. However, it’s no problem for me to go with them,” Felix said.

Felix was equally surprised that Sherlyn would defend him so fiercely. After reflecting, he realized they had only met a couple of times. Did she really need to go to such lengths?
