After Felix arrived at Tabiner Bay, he pulled into the parking lot and handed his keys to the security guard. He then told Dora to send someone over for the car. As he walked past Yvonne’s villa, he noticed her sitting in her yard, even though it was already late. 

“Want to come in for a bit?” she offered after they locked eyes. 

“It’s alright. I’m kind of tired.” 

Curiosity flickered in Yvonne’s eyes. Felix actually managed to get back from the Phoenix. Legion unscathed. It seemed unlikely that they would arrest someone by mistake. 

It would be ridiculous if the Phoenix Legion had mobilized their teams without solid evidence, wouldn’t it? 

“What other secrets are you hiding, Felix?” As Yvonne muttered to herself, she steeled 

herself. 

This was precisely why she was sent here. But part of her hoped she would not uncover anything. If she did, the chances of him being together with her boss might just become higher. 

Felix had barely stepped into his yard when Sherlyn dashed over. “Look who finally decided to show up! You’ve been released for a while, and you’re only coming home now!” 

Helpless, Felix turned around. “I had some business to take care of.” 

Sherlyn walked in while carrying two bottles of liquor and some snacks. “I don’t care. I’m leaving tomorrow, so you have to have a drink with me tonight.” 

She was truly living up to her reputation as Ernest’s granddaughter. 

“Turns out, Belle had a lot of issues. The Warlord of the East had to send people to haul her

looked at Felix expectantly, but he only nodded.

Sherlyn was taken aback. Instantly, she felt somewhat hurt. “I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. With your skills, I wouldn’t bat an eye if you said you knew the Warlord of the East personally.” 

Only then did it dawn on her that Felix might have orchestrated the whole thing himself since he was such a great master healer. 

“No. I should thank you for helping me out today. Thanks for your concem, too.”
