As night fell, Felix drove to an old, run–down dojo on the outskirts of the city. Getting out of his car, Felix found the place deserted. He muttered, “First, he picks this dump, then he’s late.” 

He was exhausted. Just when he had thought things were settling down, someone had used the Miracle Card. This meant another trip to Canraville the day after tomorrow. 

But he would not have to take a flight this time. He could drive there since it would be just a few hours on the highway. 

Five minutes later, headlights appeared from afar, and a car pulled up beside his Range Rover. Yale stepped out, his face a mask of displeasure. 

“What’s with that face? Isn’t being Dragon Lord everything you wanted?” Felix mocked. Yale’s voice was ice–cold as he said, “Skip the chit–chat. What’s so urgent? Is this about her?” 

He was confident Felix would not dare try anything. After all, Felix was now bound by Yvette’s situation. Yale had also made Harold stir up all sorts of trouble here in Yartford.

Yale laughed. “Interesting. You won’t even be able to take me even if you want to. Besides, don’t you care what happens to your aunt?” 

This puzzled Felix. “Why would you lock someone up and stop checking on them? Won’t you feel something’s off when your men go silent for days?” 

Yale’s brow furrowed as it clicked. He said, “So you got Yvette out. It seems I 

underestimated you again. In that case, I’ll send you to your grave. Everything’s in place. anyway.” 

With everyone except Nala backing him, he felt untouchable. 

But Felix’s expression was full of disdain. “Is that so? When the founder shows up, you’ll learn how pathetic your schemes are against real power.”
