Telepathy? Felix smirked and kept driving, ignoring the voice. It was amusing that simply having lunch with the Summers family had attracted this kind of attention. 

As he pondered the matter, he realized that Phantom Poison, which had affected Curtis, was incredibly rare and valuable, After encountering Vilebane, the creator of that poison, Felix knew that ordinary people could not possibly access someone of that power level. 

In other words, the Summers family had a hidden enemy who was finally showing their hand. After some hesitation, he called Xena, who actually answered. 

“What do you want?” Her cold tone immediately irritated him. 

If Curtis had not been such an honorable man who respected their engagement and them a month to get to know each other and see if they could make this arrangement work,

Arriving at Kane’s place, Felix parked and sat down in the yard, knowing the person behind the telepathy would not give up so easily. Sure enough, a hideous middle–aged woman appeared in the courtyard within minutes. 

“You little brat. Not only did you ignore my message, but you didn’t even stop your car!” 

Felix calmly picked up his teacup after sizing her up. “Why should I stop? You should have stepped in front of my car if it was urgent.” 

The woman sneered, “If there weren’t so many witnesses around, you think I wouldn’t have? Come with me. Become my puppet, and you’ll discover what true glory means.” 

Felix took a sip of tea and shook his head. “You’re just a piece of trash barely reaching the Martial King level, yet you dare make demands of me?” 

Without Felix making any visible movement, the woman suddenly collapsed, unable to feel her legs. Terror crossed her face as she realized this young man’s power far exceeded hers 

she could not even detect his movements, let alone defend against them. 

“You’d better release me, or everyone in your bloodline will die!” When Felix continued drinking his tea, ignoring her, she pressed on, “I’ll tell you the truth–I work for Madam Spring. Are you sure you want to make an enemy of her?” 

Felix frowned, recognizing the name of the powerful old woman from a conversation between Averill and Leslie about a high–profile incident.
