Warren shot back at Nattie, “You don’t know a damn thing! This is a genuine antique. A masterpiece! Do you even know who Thomas is? Would he lie to me? If I bring this to him now, we’ll get 25 million dollars on the spot!” 

Nattie’s eyes lit up with excitement. “Then, what are we waiting for? Warren, I know you’re passionate about these antiques, but 25 million dollars could change everything for our family.” 

Even if Warren were a billionaire, his wealth was tied to the scale of his company. The reality shifted once his bank loans and other debts were factored in. 

That was how things worked in the business world. When a company failed, the owner’s financial ruin could come immediately. It was a stark contrast to the losses faced by ordinary people who rely on personal savings. 

Milo’s face was a mix of emotions. After all, they were discussing 25 million dollars. Who wouldn’t be tempted by that? 

“No way! This was a gift from Felix, and I have to return it. It’s worth far too much. I can’t just keep it,” Warren stated. 

Only then did everyone recall that the porcelain teapot had indeed been a gift from Felix. 

“Uncle Warren, Felix just picked it up at the antiques market. He has no idea what it’s really worth. We can just keep this between us,” Milo suggested. 

Nattie quickly chimed in, “Exactly, Warren! Felix gave it to you, so it’s yours.” 

She couldn’t help but imagine Felix becoming unbearably arrogant if he ever got his hands on 25 million dollars. 

But Warren’s next words stunned everyone into silence. “You’re all judging Felix by your own standards. He knows exactly how much this is worth. Thomas even offered him 25 million dollars for it, but instead of selling it off, he gave it to me.” 1 

Meanwhile, Felix and Sasha arrived at an ultra–luxurious karaoke lounge. The private room was buzzing with a lively crowd of men and women. 

“Ugh, Sasha! Why did you have to drag Felix along?” Ruth’s annoyance was evident when she saw Felix. 

“Do you think I wanted to? My dad made me bring him. Just ignore him and enjoy ourselves,” Sasha responded. 

Felix had already made himself comfortable in a corner, ready to leave as soon as Warren called. 

Just then, Sasha received a WhatsApp message from Nattie. She glanced at her phone and quickly covered her mouth in shock. “Oh, my goodness! Felix actually struck gold?” 

Curious, Ruth immediately asked, “What happened?” 

“My mom just told me that the birthday gift Felix gave my dad—a porcelain teapot he bought for 5,000 dollars at an antiques market–turns out to be a genuine antique. Someone just offered 25 million dollars for it.” 

Ruth was equally shocked. 

“This is incredible! Your dad should sell it right away. That’s 25 million dollars in cash!” Ruth laughed heartily.” Felix is going to kick himself when he finds out.” 

Sasha’s mind started racing. She didn’t say much, but she was already plotting how to keep Felix from reclaiming the teapot. Losing out on something this valuable would be a disaster.
