Vanessa’s eyes narrowed as she shot Robert an icy glare. “Robert, didn’t I specifically warn you about looking down on Jack and his friend? What’s your problem?” 

Given their years of friendship, Robert was not particularly bothered by Vanessa’s confrontation. However, Felix’s actions had thoroughly infuriated him. 

Robert replied, “I’m just giving them a reality check. Nessa, you know how I am. But Felix, calling me out like this in front of everyone, is crossing a line. Do you think getting some fancy delivery service makes you better than me? The waters in Canraville run deeper than you can imagine!” 

Instead of apologizing, Robert became even more hostile. Vanessa was furious, but before she could speak, Felix held up his hand to stop her. 

“That’s not the point here; the main issue is that a real man keeps his word about making an apology,” Felix stated calmly. 

He was already acting considerate for Vanessa’s sake, but if Robert insisted on being disrespectful, he had other ways of handling it. Of course, it would not be as gentle as his current approach. 1 

Robert scoffed. “You expect me to apologize? Dream on! I’m done with this dinner, but don’t worry–it won’t affect my friendship with Nessa. How long have you even known each other? 

“And that precious box of yours probably only contains something with tens of millions at best. Do you think that gives you the right to act high and mighty?” 

As Robert stormed toward the exit, Felix remained unfazed. He figured Robert would have plenty of time to regret his actions later. Since Vanessa was curious and he had no idea what was inside, Felix immediately opened the box. 

“Is this…” Vanessa’s anger instantly evaporated as she reached for the item inside, her expression frozen in shock. “Oh my God! A VIP invitation to Dreamscape’s concert?” 

The others could not believe their ears and quickly gathered around. When they confirmed it was genuine, their jaws dropped in disbelief. 

Getting Section A tickets to Dreamscape’s concert was already a challenge, and even Robert had only managed to get one through family connections. Yet, Felix had received a VIP invitation. 

Everyone knew Dreamscape’s iron–clad rule–VIP invitations were reserved for the nation’s elite across all fields. Hence, that ticket alone spoke volumes about Felix’s status. 

Robert, who had reached the doorway, stood frozen in place. He would not have cared if the box contained items worth billions. After all, money could not always buy influence.
