As the car door opened, Yvonne said, “I belong to Lady Nala in both life and death. Even if I’m deeply in love, we cannot be together without her permission. I hope you understand that as well.” 

At sunset, the entrance of Yardley Dining was lined with a red carpet and flanked with rows of elegant torches. The waitresses, clad in dresses, wore bright smiles and were fully prepared for the grand event. A banner that hung above the entrance read, “Welcome to Yardley Dining, Lady Summers.” 

The restaurant was closed to the public that day, all for the sake of one guest–Xena Summers. The smile on Larry’s face as he surveyed the restaurant showed how happy he 

was. 

Larry Laird, the owner of Yardley Dining, hadn’t expected Felix to pull it off. On top of that, he had managed to bring her over for dinner so soon. 

“Why aren’t the lights on over there? Get them fixed right away!” Larry instructed. 

“Yes!” 

Everyone knew how important that night was, so no one dared to slack off. As restaurant staff, they were witnessing a momentous occasion. 

After all, Xena was the only goddess of war in Dragonia, and news was spreading widely that Xena was about to be promoted to become one of the Great Warlords. Having such a person dine at Yardley Dining—and allowing it to be publicized–would greatly benefit their restaurant. 

“Sir, there’s a disturbance at the entrance!”
