Andrei nodded, setting aside Perry’s final letter. He raised his hand, and a tablet was handed to him immediately. 

“This is all the information we could gather on Felix. Please take a look.” 

Time slipped by as Andrei meticulously studied the details for over two hours. He had always been detail–oriented, after all. 

“Felix is far from ordinary, as expected. Most of the people in his circle are not ones we can afford to provoke,” Andrei remarked. 

While they couldn’t yet ascertain Felix’s full capabilities–aside from Perry’s mention of him being a martial artist–the connections within his circle told a different story. 

“Yes, Mr. Hawkins. That was my conclusion as well. Are we still going to proceed against Felix?” 

Andrei nodded again. “Of course. A promise is a promise. I’ll keep at it until I reach my limits. If there’s truly no way forward, only then will I let go. But before dealing with Felix, let’s always be extra careful. Better safe than sorry.

As the sun rose, Felix arrived in the rear courtyard of Yardley Dining. He was meeting Vivian there. 

“What brings you here?” Felix asked. 

He greeted her with a nod. He had asked her to send the Vanguard Legion to Canraville to guard the restaurant’s courtyard for a week. He planned to refine the Dragonspine technique during that time and needed absolute solitude. 

Vivian smiled. “Of course, I’ll oversee it myself if you ask for something.” 

Felix shook his head knowingly. He understood Vivian’s intentions without her having to say much. 

“How are things going with Dragon Alliance?” Felix asked. 

Vivian reported, “With the full support of the two Vice Leaders, there are still a few that are still not satisfied, but they don’t dare speak up. Don’t worry, Felix. I’ll convince them in no time.”
