With traditional medicine’s declining succession, Brandon’s words were not exaggerated. They were spoken from the heart. 

“Dr. Quinn, you’re too modest. Are you saying Felix’s skills surpass yours?” Nala asked.

She decided to meet with him properly once Silas healed him. Certain matters could now move forward. 

Among those present, only Yvonne shared Xena’s depth of concern. Her heart remained clenched tightly. If Felix did not survive, she felt she would lose her will to live. 

After 30 endless minutes, the door finally opened. Silas emerged from the room. 

“How is Felix?” Nala and Xena asked simultaneously, exchanging a glance. Whatever thoughts that prompted remained their own. 

“His life is no longer in danger, however…” 

Their briefly relieved hearts tensed again at his unfinished sentence. 

“Dr. Grayson, what is it?” Nala frowned. If even a master healer like Silas hesitated, the news must be grave. 

“Silas, tell us straight. I know you gave it your all. This is Felix’s fate!” 

Glancing at Brandon, Silas sighed. “Tell me the truth, Brandon. Did he really perform the Five Points of Ascension continuously for all those children?” 

Brandon nodded. “How could I lie? I assisted with the Pierce of Trinity. Besides, How else were the children freed from the Bloom Seeds? According to Felix, if we didn’t save them within 30 minutes, they risked permanent damage. They could become disabled, suffer from brain atrophy, and worse.
