Outside, Vivian maintained her guard silently after Felix jumped and disappeared below. Four hours passed before Felix jumped back up 

“Change of plans. We’re staying,” he instructed. 

Vivian did not dare question it. Besides, she wanted to spend more time with Felix anyway.
