After dealing with Inferno Clan, yet another person was targeting him through an assassin organization–probably someone without much sense. The irony was that Flair had been created by Averill, making this whole setup a perfect case of a lamb to the slaughter. 

“Who made the order?” he asked. 

“A man named Pierce Langden. He’s from Canraville.” 

Felix raised his hand. “I know who he is. I’ll handle this myself.” 

Seven nodded, waiting patiently for Felix’s main instructions. 

“It’s about the Thirteen Aces, which are Dragonia’s S–rank wanted criminals. Find me the twelfth one, Sonny Balcom, code–named ‘Circle of Hearts.‘ Track him down for me.” 

With its intelligence network, Flair’s assassin organization was well–equipped to find targets better than most other organizations. 

“Yes, sir.” 

The thought of falling for their trap still bothered Felix immensely. He continued, “You’re connected with Shadownet overseas, aren’t you?” 

Seven nodded. “Yes, Mr. Zeller. Do you need something from them?” 

“Inform Shadownet that I’m offering a bounty for Sonny’s trail. The reward will be ten 

billion dollars.” 

Seven drew in a sharp breath. 

Even when converted to Shadownet’s local currency, ten billion dollars would still rank among the top bounties in their history and would send the entire organization into a frenzy. Felix’s determination to hunt down Sonny was clear. 

“Alright, sir. I’ll make the arrangements.” 

Money didn’t matter to Felix, but Sonny’s trap was something he needed to undo. Otherwise, he’d carry a reputation of being cowardly forever. 

When he returned to the private room, he found Wendy sitting thoughtfully, brows 

furrowed. 

“What’s bothering you?” Felix asked. 

Wendy gave him a slight, bitter smile. “Nothing major. An important client’s son is coming to Canraville. My father called, asking me to host him personally.”

Felix sat down and teased, “So he’s that eager to get to know you?” 

After a moment, Wendy nodded. “Yeah. He takes every opportunity to drop hints. But because of Moonshadow Alliance, he hasn’t dared to do 

anything outright. It’s annoying, 

but his family is crucial to our business, so I can’t just brush him off.” 

Taking a few more bites, Felix encouraged her, “That’s business for you. You’ll get used to handling all sorts of people over time.” 

After they finished eating, Wendy left, driving off from the underground parking lot. 

Felix had planned to walk back since he hadn’t driven to the restaurant, but as soon as he stepped outside, he received a message. It was another matter that needed his attention. Just as he left the restaurant, he heard someone call out, “Hey, come here, young man!” 

Felix assumed it wasn’t directed at him and continued walking.
