Alistair was stunned. Felix had only mentioned that he had something extremely important to discuss with Xena. However, he didn’t mention what it was about. 

Hearing that it was about Sonny, Alistair was utterly shocked. 

Sonny was no ordinary person. Among the Thirteen Aces on the list of Super S–rank wanted criminals, none were ordinary characters. And now, one was inside the building? 

Similarly, Xena turned around abruptly, staring at Felix. “Do you know what you’re saying? 

Felix nodded. “I do, and I wouldn’t joke with you about something like this.”

Biting her lip, Xena eventually walked in, glaring at Alistair. “Why didn’t you say anything sooner?”

Once inside, they saw Sonny sitting on the floor, and both drew deep breaths. 

Who would have thought that after so many years of manhunts and deploying huge amounts of resources, the most wanted criminal in Canraville was now sitting right in front of them? It was beyond belief. 

“Mr. Zeller, did you… capture Sonny?” 

Felix had already prepared an answer. He captured Sonny to clear up misunderstandings. However, he realized he was too naive to assume anyone would believe he alone could capture such a formidable man. 

“No. Someone asked me to come here. Sonny was already here when I arrived.” 

How could he capture Sonny now that he had lost his martial ability? Nobody would believe him, so there was no point in boasting. 

Xena cast a deep look at Felix, then turned to Sonny. “Sonny! Was it you who kidnapped Curtis that night?” 

After calming down, she thought about the kidnapping incident and found several discrepancies. But Curtis was adamant that Felix was present at the scene, so even though she had doubts, she couldn’t do anything. 

However, if Sonny admitted it himself, it would be different, and she could even explain it 

to Curtis.

After they left, Xena initially planned to leave straight away but hesitated and spoke to Felix, “It seems someone is helping you to mend our relationship. Whoever they are, they underestimate the impression you left that night. Capturing Sonny won’t change anything. 

Felix remained silent.
