Inside the envelope was a single sheet of paper with one huge word written on it, “Death“, 

“Don’t worry. It’s probably just someone pulling a prank. I’ll go check it out,” Felix said. 

Knowing Felix’s abilities, Jack didn’t try to stop him. “Alright, but come back quickly. Let me know if it’s something serious so I can tell Nessa.” 

Felix headed to Room V03. Pushing the door open, he saw a young man sitting alone on the couch. The table was lined with unopened bottles of alcohol, and the TV was paused. It was clear he wasn’t here to have fun. 

“I don’t believe we’ve met before,” Felix said as he casually took a seat. 

To Felix’s surprise, the young man rose to his feet and approached him. Then, he suddenly dropped to his knees in front of him. “Please! I beg you to save my grandfather!” 

Felix blinked in confusion. This wasn’t what he expected at all. He had thought it might be an enemy coming to pick a fight. 

“Please stand up first. Who is your grandfather?” Felix asked. 

The young man stayed on his knees, refusing to budge. “I’m from Meadowspring. My grandfather is the village chief.” 

The mention of Meadowspring immediately brought back memories of the time he had gone there to rescue Michelle. It had happened all because of Ryland and some woman named Pearly. 

Felix hadn’t recovered his strength at the time, and the situation had been dire. If the old village chief hadn’t intervened and let them go, they might have suffered a terrible 

outcome. 

“Rise to your feet and tell me the whole story,” Felix said. 

He helped the young man to his feet and motioned for him to sit down. 

Even though the village chief’s actions had been a way of repaying a favor, hearing this news left Felix feeling a little guilty. 

“When you trespassed Meadowspring’s forbidden zone that night, we should have killed you according to our village rules. However, my grandfather let you go. We thought that was the end of it, but the Saphira family came and took my grandfather away today,” the young man said, his face full of sorrow. 

“They said he broke the rules by letting outsiders go and must be punished. 

It turned out to be because of that incident.
