Xena continued, “You can deny it if you want, but the truth speaks for itself. An S–rank fugitive is at least near the level of a Martial King. Even most martial artists wouldn’t stand a chance. Yet you took him down effortlessly. Do I need to keep going? 

“The S–rank fugitive wasn’t weak. You’re just too strong.” 

She wasn’t wrong. Felix hadn’t given it much thought as everything had happened too quickly, 

“My strength has indeed recovered,” he admitted. 

Hearing that, Xena broke into a bright smile. It was a genuine smile that came straight 

from the heart. 

“All that effort finally paid off. Back then, you gave everything to save those kids. It seems heaven has finally smiled on you.” 

Standing up, Xena prepared to leave. “Now that your strength is back, your medical skills must be as well. I have nothing to worry about anymore.” 

Felix hesitated for a moment, then rushed forward and grabbed her hand. “Xena, let’s be together!” 

Xena looked into his eyes, then slowly pulled her hand away. “Since that day, I’ve truly fallen for you. I won’t deny that. However, here’s the problem. If I were to be with you, my grandfather would be absolutely furious. What do you think I should do?” 

With that, Xena walked away. 

Felix slumped onto the couch, feeling powerless and frustrated. “It seems like I’ll have to find a way to clear up this misunderstanding with Mr. Summers Senior. Otherwise, none of this will work.” 

Anyone would find Xena’s situation difficult. How could someone pursue their own happiness while ignoring their family’s feelings? This was especially so, considering Xena and her grandfather shared such a deep bond. 

The next morning, Felix woke up craving tacos and pizza. As he stepped outside, he thought he was seeing things. 

A woman in athletic gear and a headband jogged past his porch. That woman was none other than Yvonne. As she stopped by his gate to smile brightly at him, Felix realized it wasn’t a dream, 

“Felix, you’re up early,” she said. 

Felix walked closer, eyeing her curiously. “What are you doing here?”
