The miracle doctor’s name alone was intimidating enough, but they had now learned that their revered founder, Orion, had entered traditional medicine under his guidance. It was no wonder Magnus had been so protective of Felix. Everything made sense now. 

Those two deaths today were hardly unjustified. 

Suddenly, Jasper’s body trembled as a terrifying thought struck him. Orion had been dead for so many years, and Magnus, his first disciple, was already so old. Wouldn’t that mean Gerald… 

On the drive back, Felix was enjoying a sausage. The street food at Medic’s Haven was excellent, so he had bought plenty to share with Jack, Xena, and the others. 

“Mr. Zeller, there’s something ahead. Let me check it out. Please wait here.” 

After hearing the driver’s words, Felix glanced up. Then anger flashed in his eyes. “Stay here. I’ll look.” 

A Maybach was blocking the road, and standing beside it was someone Felix recognized. It was Asher. Damn it! Would this never end? 

Felix stepped out, not bothered to hide his irritation. He had made things clear enough with Asher in Yartford’s park, yet here he was again. Still, the Greene family’s power was undeniable. They could track Felix down in minutes as if he had planted a tracker on him. 

“Asher, are you asking for trouble?” Felix sneered. 

Asher’s expression remained neutral as he opened the back door of his car. “My brother Aiden wants to see you. Get in.” 

Aiden? Felix recalled Asher mentioning his brother during their first meeting. He had made some threats about what would happen if Aiden showed up. It seemed that Aiden had not done so because of Victor. Now, Victor’s death had removed all restraints. 

“Spit it out!” Felix was not about to get in. The Greene family had no right to tell him to do whatever they wanted. 

Asher frowned. He was about to speak when a voice came from inside the car. “Not bad. That arrogance reminds me of your father! I’ll be brief. Victor gave you something. Since he had just died not long ago, I’ll give you seven days to bring that thing to me.‘

Asher closed the door and got in the passenger seat. The car spun around and left. Rubbing his chin, Felix was not particularly concerned. But he had to admit Aiden was something else.
