No one would have imagined that children were being sent every month into this forest, with the entrance hidden within a small cave. 

When Felix arrived, he stepped inside, finding scattered animal bones exactly as Louis had described. The cave was not very deep. After walking about 30 feet, he reached a dead end -a solid stone wall. 

A regular person stumbling into this cave would have turned back by now. However, Felix’s sharp eyes caught a small, shadowy corner above him where a concealed camera was quietly pointed in his direction. 

Perhaps it was his own abandonment as a child, but Felix had always despised traffickers with a burning hatred. Letting something like this slide was never an option. 

Clenching his fist, he punched the stone wall with immense force, shattering it instantly. Beyond the debris was something unexpected an elevator. 

Felix stepped inside, pressing down lightly with his foot. The immense pressure triggered. the elevator, sending it plummeting downward at breakneck speed. 

“Intruder alert!” The alarms blared throughout the underground lab beneath the cave, sending guards racing toward the elevator’s location.

A man and a woman sat across from each other in a secluded room. They heard the piercing sound of the alarms loud and clear. 

“Relax. Whatever it is, it’ll be handled quickly,” the man said dismissively, reaching for his radio to get an update. 

Before he could speak, the door to the room was blown off its hinges, slamming into the far wall with a loud crash. 

“Who’s Jonathan Larsen?” Felix demanded coldly as he stepped into the room. His presence radiated danger, and it was clear he was not there to negotiate. 

If Felix had made it this far, it could only mean everyone else had already been eliminated. What he had seen on the way down was enough to make his blood boil.
