Quickly sitting in a meditation pose, Felix located the thread within himself. 

“Even with my current power, it’ll take a month to fully dissolve this Scarlet Thread.” 

Since the thread was not harming him, Felix guessed it had to be some kind of ancestral protection to identify who killed their descendant. 

Though Felix had instantly suppressed it to its limit, total elimination would take at least a month. 

This was why he was frustrated. While his suppression had reduced the thread’s tracking range greatly, it was not gone. Within a certain distance, it could still instantly identify Felix as Mason’s killer. 

Whoever created this thread was powerful. They were definitely beyond Felix’s current ability to fight. But nothing could be done about it now. He would have to take things one step at a time. 

Seven arrived at the villa minutes after Felix’s call. “Find someone who can alter their appearance to look like this person. Have them visit several cities across Dragonia for no more than a week.”

After breakfast, Felix went out with more gift boxes around 10:00 am. Some neighbors had been out yesterday, so he needed to complete his rounds. 

This time, someone was home at Villa No. 2. It was a striking woman with enviably fair skin and a stylish bob cut with bangs. She carried an air of elegance. 

“Hello, I’m Felix Zeller, who’s just moved into Villa No. 3. I wanted to introduce myself to the neighbors and bring a small gift.” 

The woman smiled pleasantly. “Oh, you’re new too? What a coincidence! I just bought this place but haven’t moved in yet after fixing it up so I’m also quite new. I’m Queenie
