Conan did not want to stay a second longer in this place. After all, this was the legendary Chief Commander, someone even Lionel respected. He had really shot himself in the foot this time, wishing he had shown better judgment.

“How did you two end up coming together?” he asked, trying to change the subject. 

Mira’s eyes sparkled with amusement. “I was too lazy to track you down, so I had Averill do the legwork.” 

She turned to Averill and added, “Don’t you have a flight to catch?” 

Averill’s expression showed reluctance, but Mira’s authority was absolute. She gave Felix a quick hug before departing.

Mira waved her hand in response, and all the first–floor curtains closed mysteriously. “of course I do! Don’t you remember? You owe me a huge favor from the Polaris incident.” 

Felix gulped nervously as Mira moved closer. “Sure, I’ll repay it, but why close the curtains in broad daylight?” 

Mira smiled seductively. “I know you and Xena broke up, so until you get back together, we’re not breaking any relationship rules. Averill and Leslie may have made the first moves before, but today, I’ll show you what real female dominance feels like.” 

Hours later, Mira dressed and picked up her umbrella while Felix lay in bed, looking somewhat shocked. She commented, “Your strength is improving rapidly. Soon, I might 

not be able to overpower you at all. 

I’m glad I came when I did.” 

Felix lay there with mixed emotions, unsure what to say. He had indeed fought back with all his might but still ended up being dominated–it was a complete role reversal. 

“Goodbye, Felix,” Mira said softly.
