Honestly, Felix was startled by the sudden appearance. 

Standing before him was a young girl in her teens, wearing pigtails, jeans, and a green T–shirt. While not strikingly beautiful, she embodied cuteness to perfection, especially with her dimples when she smiled and a tiny fang that made her utterly endearing. 

“Who are you?” Felix asked cautiously. 

The girl maintained her smile and extended her right hand. “You can call me Cynthia. I’m your sister–in–law.” 

Before he could say more, Felix suddenly recalled her opening words. “Wait! Did you just call me brother–in–law?” 

Cynthia nodded cheerfully. “Yep, you’re my brother–in–law! Oh, come on! Do you want Abyssal Surge Sect gone or not? I really want to do something for you!” 

While puzzled, Felix casually replied, “If I say yes-” 

Before he could finish, Cynthia vanished, her words and giggles echoing in the air. “Got it!” 

Though confused, Felix was certain of one thing–Cynthia was incredibly powerful, likely at Blood Realm level herself. However, he did not take it too seriously, assuming she was just some brat out for fun. 

After all, even a Blood Realm fighter would find it challenging to destroy a powerhouse like Abyssal Surge Sect. Pushing these thoughts aside, Felix began planning how to rescue Ryan and Nelly. He could only confront the Abyssal Surge Sect head–on after ensuring their safety. 

As time passed, he reluctantly realized he would need his senior apprentices‘ help. Rescuing two people stealthily by himself seemed unrealistic. He had already checked that Abyssal Surge Sect was not too far from Gray City. 

The sect was hidden deep in a vast forest, just over two hours by car. Felix could start his plan right here without traveling elsewhere, 

Two lives were at stake. While Ryan’s family influence might protect him from death, Nelly’s situation was far more precarious, which explained why Ryan could not reach her. 

Felix’s eyes grew cold at the thought. It was shocking that the second–ranked Abyssal Surge Sect in Dragonia would stoop to such underhanded tactics, even targeting an innocent civilian like Nelly. 

Then again, given their previous actions with the Skybound Revenant incident, perhaps they truly had no moral bottom line. Checking his phone, he noticed it was already 3:00 pm. 

Time had flown while he concentrated on the problem. Just as he was about to call Seven, Vivian called again.
