“We still can’t confirm if he’s really from the Bronze Age over 2000 years ago,” Felix mumbled thoughtfully. 

Everyone studied Benjamin carefully, finding it hard to believe. Yet, considering that his body had been used for ancient alchemical experiments by the greatest mystics of the time, it was not entirely impossible. 

“I’m sure I’ll have a way to verify it once we’re back in Dragonia,” Felix added confidently. 

At dawn, Felix and Nala were set to return home while Selmer stayed behind. The plan was for Reagan to gather the Steele family that night, eliminate them all, and then return. They were not worried about the Elders‘ Council for now, as Felix’s betrayal would not be discovered anytime soon. 2 

“Thank you for everything,” Felix said on the private jet, still feeling guilty about the night’s 

events. 

“Don’t mention it. I’ve already decided to pursue you, so helping you is only natural,” Nala replied simply. 

Felix frowned at her words. “A relationship between us is impossible. You should give up on that idea–business and personal matters should remain separate.” 

Nala remained unfazed by his rejection. “It’s okay, time changes everything.” 

After landing in Gray City, Nala headed to the clinic while Felix went home. There, he found Averill waiting in the living room. 

“Is this your new follower? He looks quite impressive,” Averill remarked curiously, studying Benjamin. 

The latter had showered and changed into new clothes, looking vastly different from before. 

“Averill, I called you here because of him. His name is Benjamin Stone, and…” Felix then proceeded to explain everything. 

After hearing the whole story, even Averill was stunned into silence for a while. “Hold up, someone from over 2000 years ago? Are you and the others playing some kind of joke?” 

Felix smiled wryly and said seriously, “It’s absolutely true. Take him to see Mr. Hoffman–I’m sure he can give us a definitive answer.” 

Averill nodded in agreement. “Well, you did the right thing this time. Mr. Hoffman will definitely be interested.” 

After instructing Benjamin to follow Averill, the two left. When Felix arrived at the clinic, he caught the scent of something delicious cooking, which made him realize how hungry he was. 

“Who’s cooking?” he asked.

“Man, it’s great that you’re back, Felix. This food smells amazing,” Billy said between bites. 

After eating, Billy suddenly looked at Felix with a serious expression. “I sense dark energy around you. You’ll soon be haunted by malevolent spirits.”
