Chapter 830
An invincible force suddenly surrounded the guards. They paled as their bodies became immobile, as though bound by invisible chains.
Fortunately for them, Selmer didn’t want to kill them. Otherwise, they would have died by
now.
Within seconds, five figures appeared at the gate. Judging by their auras, all five were masters of the Blood Realm, a proof of Skyward Guild’s might.
“What is the meaning of this?” a middle–aged man asked.
Selmer smiled. “I’ve come to deliver a message on behalf of my master. And you are?”
The middle–aged man’s expression shifted after hearing that. It had been years since anyone dared to address Skyward Guild in this manner.
“I am Stamford of Skyward Guild,” he replied.
Selmer nodded. “Mr. Zeller was the one who hurt Thomas. This phone contains evidence of him kidnapping a high school girl and attempting to assault her. If Skyward Guild chooses to shield him, Mr. Zeller will prepare to fight.”
He tossed the phone to Stamford and left, leaving Skyward Guild’s members stunned. “Mr. Walter, who is Thomas? Is he one of ours?” one of the other members asked.
Stamford rolled his eyes. “Why are you asking me? How would I know?”
Ten minutes later, all the elders gathered in Skyward Guild’s hall, and the sect leader, Terry, was also present.
“Mr. Miles, was it a mistake? We’ve already investigated and found no one named Thomas among our men,” Stamford asked.
Terry glanced at him and explained, “Thomas is the younger brother of my son’s mistress.” The room fell silent. So, the matter involved the sect leader’s son.
“Mr. Miles, do you
intend to turn a blind eye?” Stamford asked hesitantly.
“What’s your opinion, Mr. Walter?” Terry hummed.
“Well, we could let it pass. First, Thomas was in the wrong. Second, the man they sent was formidable and suggests he is not someone to provoke,” Stamford analyzed.
A mere mistress‘ brother wasn’t worth anyone’s concern. Stamford’s suggestion meant it wasn’t worth causing a conflict over it.

The others nodded in agreement, feeling Stamford’s reasoning was sound.

Once everyone had fallen silent, Terry spoke again. “Thomas is indeed insignificant. His death doesn’t matter. However, Patrick, the man my son sent to protect Thomas, will inevitably die by sunset with no cure available.”
