Of the Helena R. Bates stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is The Road to Rebirth Her Fresh Start and His Late Sorrow. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 148. Let's read the author's The Road to Rebirth Her Fresh Start and His Late Sorrow Helena R. Bates story right here.
Judson stormed into the living room, frustration written all over his face. "Enough talking. Have you found anything on what I asked you to look into?"
Michael straightened up immediately, sensing Judson's foul mood. "I've got some leads. I'll keep digging up dirt on The Gordon Group. We need to get Cyrus out of Ardenweald as soon as possible."
"Good. Make it quick." Judson couldn't shake the thought of Cyrus having Nancy for so long, a thought that gnawed at him. Cyrus had effortlessly achieved what Judson had longed for, yet didn't even appreciate it.
"Got it. Oh, there's something else," Michael added, his voice turning sharp. "Cyrus knows your name now. He's started looking into you. Any idea who spilled the beans?"
"Who else but Baldrick? He thinks by returning home now, Cyrus and I will destroy each other," Judson scoffed, his disdain evident. Even if it were ten Cyrus and a Baldrick combined, they wouldn't stand a chance against him.
Michael chuckled. "That sly fox. Next time I'm back, I'll give him a piece of my mind."
Judson nodded curtly, ending the call with a few more instructions. He turned and headed back to Nancy's bedroom, his gaze softening as he watched her sleep.
Carefully, Judson slipped into bed. Just as he settled, Nancy rolled over, instinctively curling into his embrace. Even in sleep, her brow furrowed with worry.
"Don't leave..." she murmured.
"I'm not going anywhere, Nancy. I'm right here," Judson whispered, wrapping his arms tightly around her, pulling her closer.
The night stretched on, their hearts beating in rhythm as dawn slowly broke outside.
"Miss, Mr. Gordon is truly sorry. He even bought the house next door just to be closer to you."
Nancy sighed inwardly. Of course, Cyrus would stoop this low.
Judson's brow furrowed, his eyes flashing with anger. Cyrus, meanwhile, gazed at Nancy with unwavering affection. "Nancy, I'll wait as long as it takes for you to come back to me."
"Don't bother," Nancy replied coldly. "The moment I left my old life behind and came here, we were over."
Her eyes were icy as they locked onto Cyrus, leaving no room for misinterpretation. The truth was, from the moment Cyrus had started fooling around with Hayley, any chance between them had died.
