Caleb nodded swiftly. "Yes."

"Cyrus, don't forget the auction's starting soon. See you there!"

"Find out where Judson and Nancy went. I'm heading to the auction to get Nancy a gift."

In the past, when Nancy was upset with him, she'd ignore him for a week. To win her back, he'd often visited auctions, picking up unique trinkets, even a rare shade of paint once, to appease her.

"Yes," Caleb nodded quickly.

With that, Cyrus turned on his heel and left.

Nancy chuckled softly, "If just seeing the designs makes you tear up, you better brace yourself for the real deal."

She hadn't finished her sentence when Judson chimed in with a tease, "If just the designs bring you to tears, won't the real thing just blind you?"
