Chapter 208 novel The Road to Rebirth Her Fresh Start and His Late Sorrow

Michael smirked, his eyes cold as steel. "I heard you've been blacklisted. Let's see if Mr. Grey is ready to go to war with The Ferguson Group just for you."

Nora's heart pounded in her chest, and she snapped, "You're threatening me!"

"Yep," Michael's voice dripped with sarcasm. "Who knew a couple of slaps could actually make you smarter?"

Nora's face flushed with anger, but what truly unsettled her was the seriousness in Michael's demeanor. He really intended to blacklist her.

Penny crossed her arms, her tone icy, "Nora, if I were you, I'd be on the phone with Mr. Grey right now, demanding justice."

Once Nora noticed everyone's mocking looks, she completely lost her cool. "I don't need your advice. Just you wait and see!" With that, she stormed out in a huff.

The backstage area fell into a tense silence.

Judson immediately took Nancy's hand, concern in his voice, "Nancy, does it hurt?"

Nancy hesitated, feeling the weight of the amused stares from everyone around. She awkwardly withdrew her hand and shot Judson a warning look, "What are you doing here? And with Mr. Ferguson of all people?"

Could it be that Judson was starting to regain some of his memory?

Sensing the probe in Nancy's words, Judson pouted slightly, "Nancy, you said I should take walks when I'm free. I've been waiting for you at the coffee shop."

Nancy couldn't help but chuckle at his innocent explanation.

Even Lenard joined in, teasing, "She meant near home, Judson, not at a café near Potter Inc."

Judson shot Lenard a sharp look, "Well, you weren't exactly reliable!"

Even though Lenard was supposed to be watching over Nancy, she still ended up being bullied.

Feeling the weight of Judson's glare, Lenard couldn't help but feel a bit sheepish, knowing he wasn't as dependable as Judson.
