Hayley suddenly felt a wave of unease and instinctively grabbed Cyrus' hand. "Mr. Gordon, my stomach..."

Norton answered honestly, "He's known in the industry as quite the scoundrel. He’s smart in business, but his reputation is bad. Baldrick, why do you ask?"

"Why indeed?" Baldrick sneered at Cyrus.

Sensing something amiss, Cyrus turned deathly pale and stared at Nancy, his heart pounding. "Nancy, Ogden wouldn't dare, right?"

Nancy didn't address his question. Instead, she looked back at Cyrus with eyes full of scorn. "Does it matter? Weren't you busy with something else and had to leave earlier?"

Cyrus felt his heart racing uncontrollably and impulsively reached out to grab Nancy's hand. He said, "Let's go home."

But Nancy forcefully shook off his hand and stepped back, her expression turning cold and distant.

"I'm here with Baldrick tonight, Mr. Gordon. I'm not leaving with you." she said.

Turning, she walked upstairs.

About to follow, Cyrus got blocked by Baldrick.

Cyrus' face fell as Baldrick coldly intervened, "Shall we talk?"
