Hayley listened to Cyrus with a look of pure envy in her eyes.

Caleb shook his head cautiously. "So far, we still haven't found any trace of her."

Cyrus felt his heart sink. So, Nancy had left him for good. She had decided to cut him out of her life entirely.

Hayley wrapped an arm around Cyrus's. "Don't worry, Cyrus. The world's a big place. We'll find Nancy. Maybe she needs some time to cool off. She probably thinks there's something between you and me."

Cyrus snapped back to reality, nodding eagerly. "You're right. Nancy must have misunderstood how I feel about you. That's why she got so upset when she overheard my apology."
