Chapter 102 

Far away, an unknown object suddenly appeared in the sky and hot straight at Oneida. 

It was as though an arrow was moving at an extremely fast speed 

Oneida was already exhausted and couldn’t focus her mind. She could only let that thing hit her, 

It was a long, thin syringe that pierced into Quelda’s left leg later 

Once again, inside the syringe was an anesthetic Oneida was farciliar with. 

Oneida looked up in a daze and saw a mansion hidden in the darkness not far away. 

A man was standing on the third–floor balcony of the mansion. 

The anesthetic was shot by the man. 

Oneida had good eyesight. 

Unfortunately, due to the dim light, she couldn’t see the man’s face clearly and could only vaguely see his tall figure. 

“It’s a man. Perhaps, he’s the ‘boss‘ these people mentioned,” she thought 

Under the impact of the double anesthetic, Oneida closed her eyes and finally fell onto the ground. 

There was a long stretch of darkness in front of her. 

Following that, a glimmer of light slowly seeped into her eyes. 

Oncida opened her eyes with difficulty. 

However, she couldn’t see anything because her eyes were covered with a black cloth. 

At that moment, she was sitting on a chair with her hands tied behind her. She was not tied with ordinary hemp ropes but extremely strong iron chains. 

Apparently, the person who kidnapped her had gone out of his way. 

First, one of his men pretended to be Jackson and used a large dose of anesthetics on her. Then, he sent men in black as backup and finally gave her another anesthetic himself. 

Now, he even tied her up in that way. 

Oneida couldn’t even move, let alone run away. 

She simply slumped into the chair, looking calm and bored. 

Even though Oneida was locked up, she was neither panicked nor afraid. 

She had gotten used to it. 

In the face of danger and unfamiliar surroundings, she had long been used to keeping calm. 

Since she could see nothing, she tried distinguishing the current situation by listening to the surrounding sounds. 

She could tell she was in an empty room, and there was no one else inside the room besides herself.

However, at least two men were guarding the door. 

All of a sudden, Oneida heard a series of unusual footsteps. 

The footsteps sound steady and very imposing. The person walking should be the kind of boss who has been in the upper class for a long time. He’s here so soon?” she mused, clenching her fists. 

Finally, the “boss” those people were talking about was here. 

With a creak, the door was pushed open. 

Only one person came ini. 

He walked straight toward Oneida, looking leisurely yet imposing. 

Oneida frowned slightly. 

Judging from the man’s aura, she could tell the man was very unfamiliar to her. 

It seemed that she had never met him before. 

However, she couldn’t fathom why the man would put so much effort into kidnapping her if they had no grievances with each other. 

“Hello there.” 

The man’s cold voice came from the top of Oneida’s head, and his tone was calm. 

However, Oneida knew that he was deliberately speaking in a false voice. 

In other words, it was not his original voice. 

Oneida thought it was normal to speak in a false voice, as she had done it many times. 

“Is he greeting me?” Oneida thought. 

Still, Oneida pursed her lips and said nothing. 

She never intended to talk to him. 

The man was silent for a moment and seemed to be a little angry. 

“What? Are you unwilling to talk?” he added. His voice was inexplicably cold. 

Oneida sat languidly, looking stubborn. 

The man sneered, “I know you’re in a bad mood.” 

He seemed to pace up in front of Oneida as he spoke. “I brought you here just to talk to you.” 

Oneida remained silent. 

However, the man no longer cared about it and continued, “As Jackson’s wife, I think you should know a lot about him” 

Oneida’s expression finally changed a little at the mention of Jackson. 

She wondered if Jackson was the reason for her being kidnapped 

“Has your husband done anything unusual recently? Or is he not as weak as rumors say?” the man asked tirelessly.

Chapter 102 

Oneida finally understood the situation. 

The man before him had put much effort into kidnapping her because of Jackson 

He wanted to pry for information from her. 

From that, she could deduce that the person in front of her was probably Jackson’s enemy
