Chapter 120 

Oneida’s eyes widened slightly. 

She uttered unknowingly, “Hold on…” 

At that moment, Darkflame, who was next to Oneida, interrupted her, “You can’t kill me.” 

The man had a tall figure with a cold aura surrounding him. He stared Jackson straight in the eye and smiled faintly beneath his mask. “I’ve changed my mind. I won’t kill you” 

His voice was low and clear as he said, “You are strong, but don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone 

Darkflame glanced at Oneida next to him, and there was a hint of strange emotion in his dark eyes. 

“This guy is here to save you… Don’t kill the wrong person by make, Mr. Bane. 

As soon as he finished his sentence, a dark shadow flashed before their eyes. 

Darkflame’s figure passed through the gaps of the iron cage and slipped through the window as fast as lightning. 

With that, he disappeared completely. 

Such a sophisticated built iron cage could not trap Darkflame at all. 

Or perhaps, Darkflame had deliberately trapped himself in the iron cage and waited for Jackson to visit him. 

As expected from Darkflame. 

How unfathomable. 

“Should we send someone after him, Mr. Bane?” Victor’s eyes widened slightly with a stern expression on his face. 

“No,” Jackson replied as he lowered his head. 

He didn’t want to kill anyone unless it was necessary. 

Since Darkflame had given up his opportunity to take his life, he would do the same too. 

However… 

Jackson raised his eyes and looked at Oneida, who was still locked in the iron cage. 

Oneida was fully covered, so Jackson could not see her face. 

Yet, for some reason, being stared at intensely by Jackson made Oneida feel a little embarrassed. 

“Mr. Bane…” She clenched her fist and spoke in a different tone that was similar to a young man. “I’m indeed here to save you.” 

She could neither take off her mask nor come clean with her identity. 

However, she didn’t want Jackson to misunderstand her. 

“I won’t harm you by any means.” 

Jackson stared at her with a dark gaze and suddenly asked, “Are you Zero?”

He had heard of Zero before 

This was the infamous number one killer everyone knew. 

What made him come and save him out of the goodness of his Heart? 

Oneida pursed her lips and said nothing, implicitly confirming is question. 

“Why?” Jackson asked as he looked at the killer before him with cold gaze. 

Although Zero was famous, they had never crossed paths before 

“That’s because-“There was a strange glint in Oneida’s eyes. “I like you.” 

The atmosphere turned still all of a sudden. 

Victor had his mouth agape as if he had heard some earth–shattering news. 

Jackson’s expression remained unchanged. 

But his dark eyes froze for a moment. 

Oneida’s lips instinctively curled up. 

Those were the words hidden in the bottom of her heart. 

Yet now, it was out in the open on such an occasion. 

It made her very happy. 

She would have never said it out loud on any other day. 

The close relationship they shared could only be described as superficial for now. Besides, there was someone else Jackson liked… 

Oneida dared not to tell him her feelings. 

She was worried that things would change if she confessed. 

She was anything but a wishy–washy and indecisive person. But when it came to relationships and faced with Jackson, she was always prone to feeling insecure. 

She looked at the man in front of her with bright sparkly eyes. “Do you believe me?” 

Victor swore he was about to turn into stone. 

“The killer, Zero, is a boy!” he thought to himself. 

“He said he liked… he liked…” 

Jackson stared Oneida in the eye. 

The number one killer who stood before him looked like a thin young boy. 

“He said he liked me?” he recalled what Zero just said. 

If it had been before, he would have thought it was nonsense, but… 

He stared at Zero’s eyes.

Chapter 120 

His eyes were gentle and sincere, and something in his heart seened to sink slightly. 

He seemed to have seen these eyes somewhere before. 

Jackson immediately pressed the switch in his hand. The iron cage rose and disappeared from everyone’s sight. 

Oneida was free. 

Her eyes lit up, knowing that Jackson must have believed her. 

She appeared in front of him in a blink of an eye. She leaned down slightly and lowered her head towards Jackson’s face. 

She kissed Jackson’s face through the mask! 

This series of movements took only one second. 

When Jackson snapped back to his senses, Oneida had already pulled away from him and slipped through the study window. 

She left him a message as she took her leave. “I like you, Mr. Bane.” 

Then, she disappeared. 

“Mr. Bane, he… he…” Victor stammered for the first time. 

“Did Zero just flirt with Mr. Bane?” he thought to himself. 

The noble and unattainable Mr. Bane was taken advantage of by some androgynous person! 

“Do you want me to run after him, Mr. Bane?” 

Victor clenched his fists and was a little angry. 

“No,” Jackson replied in a low voice, and the look in his eyes changed. 

“Mr. Bane, I’m afraid that Zero will be a fuss to deal with in the future…” Victor frowned and said in a worried tone. 

Jackson did not respond. 

He didn’t feel disgusted when Zero got close to him just now… 

He didn’t feel offended or repulsed by him either. 

Jackson was stunned for a moment as inexplicable thoughts crossed his mind. 

“You won’t be able to catch him,” he replied coldly after a long pause. 

How could the two top killers, Darkflame and Zero, be caught so easily? 

Since they meant no harm, Jackson would not pursue them further too. 

Things would then come to an end here.

If they wanted to continue the game, it would be game on for him too. 

Oneida went back to her car and immediately took off her black suit.
