Zachary took a deep breath, looking nervous and scared. “I–1..” Ile stammered and stopped speaking, even though he wanted to say something. 

“Do you not dare to admit that you did it?” Elon glanced at Zachary coldly and raised his voice slightly. 

Seeing Zachary’s guilty and fearful look, everyone knew it was him. 

What Oneida said was true. Zachary was really vicious. 

“I didn’t do it on purpose.” Zachary’s shoulders trembled slightly, and his face turned pale. It seemed like he was about to cry out of fear. “I really…” 

However, Elon did not look at Zachary again. Instead, he gazed straight at Leslie and sneered, “Leslie, are you going to harbor him? What he did was not a typical mistake.” 

Leslie stiffened, and the expression in his eyes kept shifting like clouds. If Elon did not show up, he would certainly choose to cover for Zachary, but… 

Now that Zachary was caught red–handed by Elon, Leslie was afraid that he could not help Zachary anymore. 

Leslie clenched his fists subconsciously. He wondered, “What’s the relationship between Elon and the girl? Why would the insufferably arrogant Elon defend her? Why?” 

Around the square, all the students heard Elon’s words and looked at Leslie with doubtful expressions.

Almost all the students there met the legendary elder for the first time.

That person was Curtis. No one would have expected such a big shot to suddenly appear in front of them. 

Curtis calmly walked toward Elon and the others.

“It was Elon who informed me to come.” Curtis’s eyes, though old, were filled with wisdom and awe. 

“Elon?” Leslie subconsciously looked at Elon with a trace of resentment in his eyes. He thought, “Wow, Elon! Your intervention is not enough. Now, you even asked Curtis to come.” 

Elon noticed Leslie was staring at him, and his cold gaze met with the latter’s line of sight. The former shot the latter a disdainful and 

ogant look. 

Oneida was not surprised to see Curtis appear. Her expression remained emotionless. She inserted one of her palms into her pocket, and her cold fingertips subconsciously touched the swan brooch inside. 

“I never thought you would let me down like this.” Curtis looked at Leslie with burning eyes. His tone was stern and dreary. If Elon had not

“Mr. Johnson, 1…” Leslie’s face stiffened momentarily, and his expression looked unusually grave. He mumbled in a low voice as if he wanted to defend himself. 

However, Curtis did not want to listen to Leslie anymore and unemotionally announced his decision, “Zachary snatched another person’s dorm, brought along bodyguards without permission, and even attempted to assault his classmates. Curtis waved his hand at Leslie apathetically. “I’ve made up my mind. You don’t have to explain yourself anymore.” 

After saying that, the elder turned to look at Oneida standing at the side, and his expression became gentler. He suddenly raised his tone so that everyone could hear his voice. “I heard that Oneida’s first assessment rank was Rank C. That’s ridiculous!” 

Dedicated instructors were in charge of giving a rank to the students. Curtis did not know about it at first. He only became aware of it when he arrived at the training camp earlier.
