Oneida’s feelings were complex at this moment. She was a bit happy and relieved that Jackson had come, but she also felt

Oneida raised her eyes, looking brightly at the crowd. “This is my husband, Jackson Bane.” 

A faint smile tugged at her lips. “Weren’t you all eager to see him? Well, here he is.” 

The room fell into a stunned silence again. 

Everyone’s eyes widened in disbelief as they stared at the couple. 

The grand hall was utterly silent, broken only by the sounds of people gasping. 

This man is Jackson Bane? Impossible!’ they all thought. 

Where was the disability they’d heard about? He walked with ease, his legs straight and long, and his physique was excellent. 

What about the rumors of his ugliness? He had a stunning, breathtakingly beautiful face. 

Was this really Jackson Bane, the reclusive fourth son of the Bane family? 

Clearly, rumors couldn’t be trusted entirely.

Tatiana’s face turned ugly as she clenched her fists, glaring at Jackson. 

“Then your face?” Tatiana asked, her voice trembling. 

Oneida gave her a cold glance, smiling faintly. “His face has always looked like this. I don’t know who started those rumors. that misled everyone for so many years.” 

Tatiana was left speechless.. 

Beside her, Jennifer was equally stunned, her entire body stiffening and her face turning exceedingly grim. 

She had never imagined Jackson would look like this. 

How could the rumors have been so off the mark? 

Such a handsome, tall man was labeled as a “disabled and ugly monster“? 

This man was supposed to be her fiancé.
