"I'm sure whatever you have to tell me, still couldn't make me hate you. I promise" he reassures her as they parted.

"I wouldn't promise just yet, not till you hear what I have to tell you" Lena says pacing in front of him trying not to panic.

Keith knew whatever it was had to be serious, Lena rarely got so worked up. He walked over to her placing his hands on each of her arms to make her stop pacing. "Give me a little more credit than that Lena. I know I've been an ass before, but I promise I never came close to hating you" he tells her in a calm tone. sounding sincere. She finally stops pacing feeling Keith's gentle touch, and looks up at him.

"Okay, your right" she sighs. Dropping his hands from her, he takes a step back giving her some room.

"I found-"

"VAMPIRE" a guy's yells running from the woods catching their attention.

"What happened?" Keith asks in full Alpha mode now. Even though he didn't hold the title yet, he was still treated like one.

"Vam-Vampire" the older man gasps as he tries to catch his breath. Lena was high alert noticing the man that was covered in blood looked terrified for some reason. Once he caught his breath he looked up to them. She quickly recognized the guard Joe that was one of the best at what he does. So for him to looked spooked, gave Lena chills.

"A vampire just attacked two of our men, and I tried to fight him off but he was so fast" he started to explain.

"Where did he go" Keith growled as anger filled him hearing that two of their men are down, and there was a threat nearby.

"I couldn't tell, because I was thrown back and he vanished into thin air. I never seen one like this before"

"Get the others here looking for this bloodsucker now" Keith orders. "Make sure they don't kill him either, because I want to question him before I end his life" he adds in a deep tone that no one would dare question. Joe nods at his orders, and was quickly gone to get the others. Keith started heading towards the woods. Lena followed right behind him, but came to a sudden halt as she runs into his back.

"What are you doing?" Keith asks.

"I'll be fine" she says rolling her eyes at his worry.

Now that they were both on the same page, they headed into the woods still in human form. Most wolves like to stay in human form during fights till their wolf is needed. Keith slowed his pace raising his head to get a better whiff. Lena came to a stop as the foul smell hit her nostrils making her scrunch up her nose in disgust.

"You don't smell so great either mutt" a deep adenoidal voice states. Lena jump in the air, being cut off guard as the pale grayish came face to face with her. She couldn't believe she didn't hear him, but they were beyond fast. Before Keith could react the vampire threw something at him make him, making him fell to the ground in agony. Lena didn't have a chance to see what the vampire threw at him, because a hard ice cold hand wrapped around her throat lifting her off the ground. Her hands shot forward as she tries to gasp for air. She knew panicking would only make things harder for her.

"What is it that you want" she chokes out. The vampire doesn't say anything as he slams her body into the tree almost knocking the wind right out of her. The sounds of Keith screams from whatever the vampire did to him help Lena to stay strong.

"You know it be easier if you blood suckers just tell us what you want. Instead of playing this game of cat and mouse, before anymore of you die" Lena states gasping for air. The vampires ghostly white eyes looked at her curiously like he was study her. This gave Lena a moment to get a good look at the creature. She needed to write a letter to the people who make movies about vampires, because they clearly don't look anything like they do in the movies, she thought. His skin looked like cheap rubber that was slick with slime. His nose reminded her of that evil sorcerer from movie Harry potter.

"If you're not what I'm looking for, then I think I'll have a snack. Draining you dry" he gutturals, then licks the side of her cheek. Lena felt bile rise from her stomach to her throat at his actions.
