Chapter 67 marks a crucial moment in Christina Marie’s Internet novel, The Strong Bond. This chapter blends tension, emotion, and plot progression to deliver a memorable reading experience — one that keeps readers eagerly turning the page.

"Holy macaroni! Did you see that" Blair hollers from what she saw as well.

"Please don't tell Damian" Viola quickly says in a very soft, but panic voice.

"Well I don't really go out of my way to talk to him. So, don't have to worry about me say anything" Blair tells her as she slumps her body onto the couch. "But why are you hiding it? I wish my eyes could change colors" she adds.

But it was Lena's curious expression that she was more worried about. Knowing she didn't look pasted things like her cousin did.

"If you don't want me to say anything, you're going to have to explain to me why first" Lena tells her. Truthfully, she didn't like the idea of keep anything from Damien, but she might consider it, if Viola gave her a very good reason.

"Damian knows, it's the fact that he doesn't want other people knowing" she points out, as her shoulders slump in defeat. Okay now this was getting interesting Lena thought to herself.

"I promise you, this will not leave the room" Lena assured her.

Viola studies both girls for a moment, trying to decide if she could trust them, or not. Clearly, she already knew the answer before really thinking it over. Lena was mated to Damian, who seem to trust her completely from what she could tell. Then there was Blair, which she had observed since she moved into the pack house. Even though she had a mouth that doesn't seem to know how to stop moving. She felt that she could trust her with something big like this.

"What I'm about to tell you really cannot leave this room" she began to say, straightened up in her seat. "And you definitely cannot tell Keegan either. I haven't had a chance to talk to him about it. Well we just met yesterday as you know, so it's not like we told each other's life stories" she's rambles shyly.

"First off, Damian isn't really my cousin. He's my uncle. He just says I'm his cousin, because he thinks it's less of a threat or less of a chance that I will be used against him. I honestly never understood it really. To me, family is family" she paused mid-sentence, knowing by their expressions, they were not expecting that. So, she gave the girls a moment to let that information to sink in.

But, she swiftly continued before they could question her. "My father fell in-love with this woman who was not his mate or even a wolf. But, she also wasn't 100% human either" Viola takes a breath, before chattering on.

"I was told, she never wanted to fall in-love, but my father made it impossible for her not too. Even though she knew he loved her deeply, she couldn't tell him her secret. Unless she was very certain she could trust him completely. It's not that she didn't trust him really. She couldn't help but be afraid that if he didn't accept who she was, he could possible expose her secret. Just like any supernatural, there are risks in exposing what you-they are. But for her, it was more serious than a threat if being exposed. But, when she learned she was pregnant, she had no other choice but to tell him" pausing for a split second, so she could compose herself for the next part.

"My mother prayed that he would still love her no matter what. Even though my father knew she wasn't from his kind, and still loved her deeply as a mate would. There was still a small debt that nagged in the back of her thoughts. So, when she told him about the pregnancy. My father was beyond ecstatic about the news. When she finally soaked up enough courage, she told him what she was. My father still loved her deeply, and told her he would love their baby no matter whose genes it got" Viola let out a sigh, feeling the part of her missing again. She noticed Lena, and Blair where fully Intune to her story. They were practically on the edge of their seats waiting to hear more. Pushing the sadness to the side, she went on. "When I was born, they still weren't sure whose genes I inherited. As time passed, and still not a sign of either Genes. They pounder the idea that I might not have gotten either of their gifts. That was till after I was three, when they started to realize that I inherited both werewolf and" she paused a moment to take a big breath before revealing the next part.
