"Why cuz, such kind words today, did someone get laid" Jared says putting his hand over his heart, with a big grin on his face. This seem to make everyone laugh, but Ashton who just rolled his eyes as he snorts at the comment.

After everyone seem to get settle, Damian stood up and started to speak. "Seeing how this situation affects my mate. You will notice the people in this room is connected closely to her. But first, Claire's going to fill you in a little on the back history. This way we are all on the same page" He States, then takes a seat. Claire went on to explain story, the same one she told Lena that day at her house.

So, it was no surprise when she was done explaining, that her grandchildren were even more fascinated. But she could sense the worry that felt for their family as well. She explained the importance of training, and learning to control their powers. Though werewolves could hold their own against vampires, it was the older vampires that were more of a threat. They were stronger of their kind, and had certain abilities that other didn't have.

"So, what happened last night" Lena asks not able to wait any longer.

"It wasn't a vampire that came into our room. It was a rogue" Damian starts to explain, which earned him a weary look.

Lena thought to herself 'what rogue in their right mind would enter onto Damian's territory?' It was as if Damian read her thoughts as he continues "Apparently, the rouge was under hypnosis, which is a power of an older vampire"

"How do you know that he was hypnotized" Blair questions, trying not to sound like a smart ass.

"When a vampire uses hypnotizes, it only last for a certain period. So, when the rouge was caught, he was still under the spell. It wasn't till hours of interrogating he seemed to snap out of it, and was confused. Not knowing where he was, and how he got there. He also did not recall any of the events that happen. The last thing he remember was being in town that wasn't far from here, picking up supplies" He explains.

"How do you know he wasn't lying?" She adds making Ashton groan. "What? I'm truly interested in finding out what's going on, so stop being a goblin-ass" she snips at him.

"How I love your pet names for me" Ashton mutters. "But, Alpha Shaw has been around a long time, and has dealt with older Vampires before. Also, he's pretty good at reading people" Ashtons tells her.

"See that's all I was wondering" Blair tells him slowly.

"Well that's creepy knowing they can mess with your mind like that" Blair adds looking over at Damian, and Lena shivers in discuss. Damian could feel her worry through their link, so he reaches over to grab her hand, squeezing to let her know that he's here to protect her.

"How did get onto your territory?" Lena questions with a shaky voice. Damian hated to see his mate like this. He doesn't want her to ever feel any type of fear. He was starting to feel like he is failing as her mate.

"What do you mean? What you really are?" Keegan's voice increases.

"We just found out we were mates, and then-" She started to explain growing anxious with all the attention on her.

"Keegan calm down, your scaring her" Lena warns.

"Yeah, it's really a fascinating story" Blair chimes in happily, making Viola flinch.

"Wait, you guys know more about my mate then I do already" he growls at them, slamming his fits on the table, which also made Viola jump in her seat from his outburst.

"I don't care if your family, but you will not rise your voice to mate" Ashton snaps. Blair rolls her eyes at her protective mate, but still got a thrill that he was like that. She places her hand on his thigh, and leans over to place a kiss on his cheek. They might bicker back and forth like middle schooler's, but that didn't mean they didn't care about each other deeply. Feeling his mate's lips on his skin relaxed his wolf, and his increasing heart rate.
