Chapter 2725

The bodyguards hesitated after hearing Selena’s order before putting down their firearms.

They wanted to keep Selena safe, but they also had to obey her commands which put them in a tough spot.

“Harvey, right? My apoologies. Abel was a little too reckless.”

“That said, he doesn’t mean any harm. He’s only trying to keep me safe. Please be the bigger person and forgive him.”

Selena then glared at Abel before coldly ordering, “Apologize to Sir York, Abel.”

Abel clicked his mouth.

“M’lady, an outsider has no right to be called that here…”

Selena scowled and said icily, “He has the right if I say so.”

“Apologize!”

Abel’s eye twitched before he stepped forward and bowed toward Harvey.

“I’m sorry, Sir York.”

“You’re only protecting your lady. I don’t blame you,” Harvey replied.

“But a subordinate should really listen to the master.”

“I have a pretty good temper. I don’t kill people that easily. If it were anybody else, you would’ve been dead by now.”

Abel felt a little resentful, but after thinking back on how he got completely beaten, his eyes quivered.

The young man in front of him seemed like some con man…

But after thinking closely, the fact that he saved Helena from the barrage of gunfire and his nonchalant attitude before Selena was already proof of his strength.

At least, other than Vince, it would be hard to find another young man in Hong Kong and Las Vegas that could speak so nonchalantly in front of her.

“My apologies. I was being a little lax toward my subordinates.”

Selena calmly smiled.

“I’m terribly sorry, Sir York.”

“Don’t mention it.”
