Elodie Jean was screaming in righteous fury.
Reuben Jean, who had been watching the show, showed a gloomy expression.

With Reuben’s support, Elodie was as confident as she could get.
She stepped forward before swinging the back of her palm across Xynthia Zimmer’s face. Xynthia stumbled back, almost falling to the ground.
“How dare you, Elodie?!” she exclaimed.
Elodie coldly chuckled.
“Am I not supposed to?”
Elodie swung the back of her palm forward once again.
Xynthia instinctively blocked with her hand…
But at this very moment, Reuben suddenly stepped forward before slapping Xynthia.
A loud, crisp sound was heard.
Xynthia covered her face while stumbling a few steps back before showing utter disbelief.
“Elder Reuben, you…”
In her mind, a man like Reuben would not do something as he pleased.
And yet, it did happen.
Xynthia looked stubbornly as if she was about to say something. Mandy Zimmer quickly stepped in front of her.
“Enough yapping!” exclaimed Reuben impatiently.
