Terrell had no idea who sent Christopher, nor did he know what happened between them and Kingsley.

However, he was astute enough to realize that the men were undoubtedly connected to the medical accident. Otherwise, Kingsley wouldn't have instructed him to bring the bodies to the outpatient hall.

Before he left, Terrell helped the frightened Samuel to his feet and grinned, asking, "Hey, we are heading to the outpatient hall now. Do you want to join us?"

"Y-You can't take the bodies away..." Even though Samuel was trembling in fear, he hadn't forgotten his duty as a doctor.

Terrell chuckled. "You can come with us if you're worried."

After that, he led the way to the outpatient hall with Samuel in tow.

Meanwhile, in the outpatient hall, Kingsley was comforting Alice. "Don't worry, Alice. I will find the truth and clear your name."

Alice nodded. "Kingsley, I'm grateful you're here. Otherwise, I'm doomed."

The onlookers nearby were murmuring among themselves.

"What's happening now? Can we leave already?"

"Just be patient. Even if we wanted to leave, those gangsters are blocking the exit. Look at them. We stand no chance against them."

As Kingsley listened to the crowd's discussions, he signaled Baron to shush them.

Baron immediately took the hint and shouted, "Everyone, please remain calm. We have no choice but to wait if these two refuse to tell us anything. However, it won't be long before the truth is out! I believe you're also curious about what's happening, right?"

Everyone nodded, agreeing with his words. The statement managed to calm them down.

The wheels rotated as the men pushed the two beds covered in white sheets further into the hall. The onlookers immediately made room for the men to stay away from the bodies as much as possible as if they were something ominous.

"Boss Nicholson." Terrell approached Kingsley. "These are the bodies that the men intended to take away."

Kingsley took a step toward the beds and lifted the sheets off the bodies.

"You surely pique my curiosity." A slight smile appeared at the corner of his lips as he turned to Alden. "Be honest. What do you want to do with the bodies? What are you up to?"

Alden was shocked to see the two bodies. After all, Felix only instructed him to pose as the family of the deceased and await the arrival of the police. He knew nothing more.

"I-I don't know..." He spoke through gritted teeth, "I really have no idea what happened! I'm only aware that there's a dead guy, and I don't know anything about the other body!"
