"Boss, please don't act impulsively." Kingsley's voice sliced through the tension. He continued, "It's not worth sacrificing yourself for someone like her. If she harms anyone, I'll make her pay."

Kingsley could sense Luke's seething anger.

Anger could drive a person to do anything, even regrettable actions.

If Luke assaulted Hillary, he would be dragged into the mess, a price too steep to pay!

Reading the situation's gravity, Joaquin quickly took the knife from Luke as he was also afraid his son would do something foolish.

As she spoke, she pointed upward, respectfully gesturing toward Kendall.
