After a moment, a deep voice pierced through all the frantic shouts, "You are surrounded! Get down on the ground with your hands on your head!"

Immediately after, there was a flurry of footsteps!

After a while, the noisy voices outside were forced to a stop.

Only occasionally could one hear a couple of forceful reprimands coming from the officers.

Meanwhile, the members of the Ivory Fang Sect inside the house were all dumbfounded when they heard the commotion!

They all turned their terrified gazes towards Rayden and said, "Leader, we're surrounded by the police! What should we do?"

Rayden Goff didn't say anything. Instead, he glanced at Kingsley and understood the meaning behind his earlier words.

It seemed that the other party had found a way to notify the police station, which was why the current situation had unfolded.

If all these people were caught and taken to the police station, then there would be no one left to inform Jarett of this altercation!

Rayden's pounding heart finally settled within his chest.

So, he cleared his throat and pretended to be calm as he said to the Ivory Fang Sect disciples, "It seems... We had too many people gathered at the entrance. Someone probably called the cops on us. You've all been to the station before. So, why are you panicking?! Once you're inside, Jarett will find a way to get you out!"

The men felt relieved, and their faces brightened after hearing their leader's reassurances.

Just then, Leonardo's door was practically kicked down, and a team of officers strode in.

The person leading the way was one other than Kylan Puckett, the captain of Action Team A.

They had previously met Kingsley when they were dealing with the staged medical accident at Hill Crest Hospital.

As soon as Kylan Puckett entered the room, he happened to see Kingsley standing right there.

Kylan raised an eyebrow as he blurted, "It's you?"

Earlier, he had received direct orders from Chief Isaac Moss, stating that there was a major operation and they needed to assist a VIP in apprehending a group of underworld thugs.

He had been curious about who this so-called VIP was. Still, he never expected it to be the young man he had met at Hill Crest Hospital!

As he recalled the phone call he received from Chief Moss a couple of days ago, requesting him to return to the station as soon as possible, Kylan had a vague guess about what was going on behind the scenes.

It seemed that this young man in front of him possessed an extraordinary background!

Those people were already beyond terrified by their experience here. So, the instant they saw that there was an actual officer of the law saving them from their plight, they all repeatedly assured that they would cooperate by keeping their mouths shut.

After Kylan sent everyone away, he closed the door and walked up to Rayden, whispering, "What's going on? How did you end up here? And who is he?"

Frankly, the man wasn't subtle at all as he kept shooting glances at Kingsley throughout their covert conversation.

Kylan had already realized that Kingsley was connected to the underworld when they met at Hill Crest Hospital. It was a rather easy deduction to make, as Kingsley had been accompanied by Baron and Kenny's men.

Nonetheless, he was also painfully aware that Kingsley had somehow gotten Chief Moss tangled in his web, too. That was the only reason why he didn't have the man forcefully escorted out with the other hooligans.

Nevertheless, he was still highly wary against men of Kingsley's ilk.

"He is Boss Nicholson," Rayden said. Then, he inhaled deeply before continuing, "However, he is also one of us."

"One of us?" Kylan glanced at Kingsley once more. "I don't think I've seen him at the police station before."

Rayden took a step forward, lowered his voice, and said two words, "Military personnel."
