At the moment, Hendrix just sighed and said, “My grandma and mom fought tonight. Do you know why?” 

His words made Noelle stop whatever she was doing. However, she calmed herself down and turned to him. “Oh? Why?” 

He looked at her. “Because my mom is dating someone.” 

Although Noelle was already assuming this, when Hendrix told her so directly, her expressions still shifted a little.

“When did you find out?” asked Hendrix. 

Noelle didn’t answer him. 

“Answer me now.” 

“Is it important?” she countered. “Actually, I think…” 

“Of course it’s important,” Hendrix cut her off and added, “So, you knew but chose to hide it from me? Do you know how stupid this is? If you’d told me earlier, I could have made preparations in advance. My grandma wouldn’t have caught them red–handed like that! 

“Do you remember what I told you last time? My father might have illegitimate children, and my mother has been staying in the Freeman family with me just to get a share of Amity Group! But now, this happened! Do you want to see my grandma giving the shares to a bastard?” 

Noelle didn’t know what to reply. Perhaps she should be happy since Hendrix never used to tell her things like that in the past. If he was doing it now, did it mean he was opening up?
