The incident with Beatrice had caused quite a stir at the time, and Hendrix was labeled as cold and unfilial by the media. He was also accused of pushing Beatrice to the brink, leaving her with no choice but to take that tragic path.

Noelle didn’t even look back. “What?” 

“The man I ran into in front of your apartment that night suddenly remembered who he was!” 

“Oh? Who?” 

“It was Mr. Freeman from Amity Group! I thought he looked familiar, and just now, when I was going through the documents, it clicked!” 

Oliver’s words made Noelle pause for a moment, but she simply responded with a brief “oh” and showed no other 

reaction. 

“Is he interested in-” 

“Did you forget about how I got alcohol poisoning last time” Noelle reminded him “So, it doesn’t matter who handles the project, as long as it’s not me.” 

Oliver couldn’t come up with a suitable reply. 

Noelle rubbed her temples. “But we still need to fight for it I’ll talk to Mr. Garcia and have him take over the negotiations.” 

“Okay,” Oliver looked disappointed, but then he quickly reminded her, “By the way, don’t forget that you have a follow–up appointment at the hospital tomorrow.‘ 

Noelle had a meeting with Julio Garcia that very day.
