Noelle called out to him. 

“Give me a second,” he said to someone on the line and looked at Noelle. 

“Are you not going back tonight?” she asked. 

“Yeah. There’s still some issue in the house. I’m going on a business trip next week, so can I stay here for a few days?” he asked. 

Alright. Just use anything in the guest room. Make yourself comfortable.” 

With that said, Noelle turned around, but Dylan stopped her. “I have prepared some cough syrup for you in the kitchen. Take some.” 

Noelle wanted to tell him that she was almost recovered, but she saw Dylan had already refocused on his work. In the end, she didn’t say anything and just went to the kitchen…

“Not like that, but isn’t your ex–husband there? I was just worried you might not want to see him ” 

“Your grandpa’s birthday party has nothing to do with him, right?” Noelle placed the washed cup down and turned to him. “Also, I didn’t do anything wrong, so why should I be afraid of seeing him?”
