Someone had just swapped in a photo of Noelle as their profile picture. When this thought crossed his mind, Hendrix was startled by his own reaction.

A voice snapped him out of his thoughts.

Hendrix turned to look at the person beside him and quickly said, "Sorry. I just remembered there's something urgent I need to do. Now, if you'll please excuse me."

"Shall I have someone drive you?" the other person immediately offered.

Hendrix raised his hand. "No, it's okay. I came with my driver tonight. The party was quite the success. Thank you for the invitation."
