Of the Internet stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is The Sway and Slide of Love. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 755. Let's read the author's The Sway and Slide of Love Internet story right here.
Hendrix wasn't a particularly delicate person, but even he found the environment hard to endure. Not long after, he was woken up by a commotion outside. He opened his eyes and pushed himself up, just in time to see what was happening outside the window.
Irene was chasing someone off with a broom. Despite her age, she still had the energy to scold while giving chase, her voice so loud and full of vigor that it startled everyone inside and out. And then, she turned around and scolded the onlookers as well.
Noelle followed closely behind her, sheltered under her protection. Her eyes were curious as she glanced around, but she didn't dare stray more than half a step from Irene.
Just as Hendrix was watching, Noelle noticed him, too. She seemed to freeze for a moment, then quickly looked away and tugged at Irene's hand.
After a bit more commotion, Irene finally pulled her inside and shut the door with a loud bang.
Once inside, Irene turned to Noelle and said, "Don't worry, Nelly. Sid's nothing but a bastard. A good girl like you will have no trouble finding someone to marry! Just wait—I'll find you a better match soon."
"Mom, I'm actually not in a hurry to get married," Noelle said.
"That won't do!" Irene shot back without hesitation. "A grown woman can't stay unmarried forever. How can you go through life without getting married and having kids? Right now, I'm here to protect you to make sure no one dares to bully you.
"But what about when I'm gone? Who's going to stand up for you if you're all alone?"
Noelle had no answer to that.
Just then, there was a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" Irene's voice was still filled with anger from earlier.
The person outside, however, didn't seem intimidated. "Hello, could you open the door?"
