"I'm well aware of Amity Group's current situation," Hendrix continued. "We all know survival of the fittest is the law in the world of business. But have you ever considered whether your business partners are truly reliable?"

Dylan's expression darkened instantly. But then, he quickly scoffed and said, "Mr. Freeman, are you trying to drive a wedge between me and Mr. Swift?"

"Drive a wedge?" Hendrix's smile deepened. "You flatter yourself too much. After everything you've done, do I really need to do that?"

Dylan clenched his fists.

Just as he was about to retort, Hendrix shifted his attention back to Marshall. "Mr. Swift, you must be confused at what I'm talking about right now, but tomorrow's headlines will make it clear. The Amity Group shares you've acquired aren't as valuable as you thought.

"Two months ago, I began transferring part of Amity Group's industrial operations. After all, you know how it is—when a company's been around too long, certain veterans start seeing themselves as irreplaceable, all while collecting a paycheck for doing nothing and leeching off the company.

"Naturally, I can't allow them to drag an empire like Amity Group down. So, I've registered a new company and shifted the core operations there."

After a pause, he smiled and continued, "But not all of them, of course. The leftovers… Well, I'll leave those for you and Mr. Pritchett to manage."

His explanation was concise, but the weight behind those words couldn't be conveyed in just a few sentences.

Not bothering to waste his breath on Marshall, Hendrix simply tossed a document onto the table in front of him.

"See for yourself. The person you trust completely has long sensed something was off. Recently, he's already started cashing in his shares.

"Even Dyno Corporation, the company you personally helped build, has already been gutted from the inside. Oh, and he's already booked a one-way ticket to flee to Novaterra."
