I switched on the light only for my smile to falter. “What are you doing here?” I questioned.

Reese seemed to stiffen beside me as he came into view. “Aren’t I allowed to visit my beloved daughter?” he questioned with a sinister smile on his stupid face. Why can’t he leave us alone?
