William’s parents rebuked him so much that he no longer felt comfortable at home after he broke off his engagement with Juliana. So, he called his reprobate friends and arranged a meeting at Skyhaven Club. 

After being kicked out of the bar area, he was blacklisted, so he could only drink in the restaurant. 

He was already drunk. His eyes were hazy, and he was staggering as he walked. 

He did not recognize Cecilia at all. 

“Have a drink with me, pretty. I have money and a lot of it.” 

As he spoke, he swayed his wrist, showing off a watch worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, and he reached out to hug Cecilia’s shoulder. 

Cecilia deliberately looked to William’s back and called out Juliana’s name.

Cecilia was about to break William’s hand when she heard sounds of leather shoes stepping on the floor, quickly approaching her. 

She recognized it was Christopher.
