The Ugly One novel Chapter 6

Read The Ugly One Chapter 6 Date Night - the best manga of 2020

Of the Angela Lynn Car stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is The Ugly One. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 6 Date Night. Let's read the author's The Ugly One Angela Lynn Car story right here.

Friday night came and my heart thumped against my chest. I didn't know what to expect but I knew I couldn't let my guard down. It was Aaron Morris after all. I don't remember him much from high school. He was older and unapproachable. Not to mention from a completely different social circle.

I remembered seeing him on rallies and hallways sometimes. He was always surrounded by girls. What's with girls always flocking around the bad boy types? What's so great about being treated like shit? I'll never understand.

I decided to dress up a little. I dug out a summer dress I never wore and put it on. It was a white sleeveless short summer dress with blue flowers on the skirt. Very girly. I straightened my hair with a hot iron so it didn't look coarse and crazy. It took me an hour to get it done. This is why I don't dress up.

I looked in the mirror and felt a little more confident about our date. Liliana was right. I don't look half bad when I dress up.

I heard a car outside. It was almost 8 pm so Aaron must be here.

"Could you get the door?" I shouted from my room. My parents weren't home and I wanted Liliana to open the door so she knows Aaron Morris is taking ME out. Suck on that, bitch!

I went outside and saw Lilian still out there talking to Aaron. Must be trying to charm her way into his heart.

"There you are, Jane Brown!" Aaron said, his eyes lit up as he saw me.

"Hi," I said shyly.

"You look great," he smirked.

I blushed. I may have been acting like I was too good for Aaron Morris in my head, but in reality, I was not immune to his boyish good looks and rock hard abs. I'm a teenage girl for gosh sakes.

"Well it was nice talking to you and all but we don't want to be late for our movie. Let's go, Jane," Aaron said to Liliana and took my hand.

"Yes, bye Liliana," I batted my eyelashes at her to piss her off. "Don't wait up," I ended my goodbye with a dramatic hair flip then hopped in the passenger seat. Hope she dies out of jealousy.

"So, where are we going to see the movie?" I asked Aaron.

"You'll see," he smirked.

I took a closer look at him. He was wearing a flannel shirt with some jeans. Nothing too flashy, yet, he looked amazing. Perks of being good looking I guess.

We drove for a while. After 30imutes or so, we finally arrived at our destination. I stared at the big red sign that said, Drive-In Theater.

Ah...the classic. But if he tries to force himself on me like in those old 80s movies, I'm going to kick him in his family jewels.

But he didn't try anything funny. I occasionally caught him stealing glances at me, which was kind of cute. But I couldn't let my guard down completely yet. I needed to figure out his true intentions.

"So, why did you ask me out, Aaron?" I asked after the movie was over.
