This voice belonged to none other than the man who kidnapped me—Matthew.

He had just gotten out of the car. His eyes were as wide as dinner plates, and he looked like he was about to spit fire.

Marius, who had been about to unlock the car, turned back in a hurry and shielded me behind him.
